CURRICULUM AND EXAMINATION

 

  1. The school academic year has two terms – April to September and October to March. For Classes VI to VIII will be Continuous Assessment during the term (Periodic Test) and an examination at the end for each term (Term Exam). Progress reports will be issued. (For details, refer to the school web page).
  2. For class V and below progress reports based on grades will issued at the end of each term on the basis of Continuous Assessment. There will be no term end examinations of these classes.
  3. At least 90% attendance is required.
  4. No special arrangements can be made for pupils who, for any reason whatsoever, are absent for any examination/test or any part of it. Examination/test cannot be brought forward or postponed. In case of absence on medical or other legitimate grounds, due consideration will be given and the final result/promotion will be awarded on the basis of the whole year’s performance.
  5. In any event, the final result is based on the full year’s work of the pupil. Hence, due importance must be given to class test as well as regularity in attendance and doing CW/HW.
  6. Willful breach of any regulation pertaining to the conduct of free and fair examinations is punishable with expulsion from the examination and/or the school. In this regard the Principal/Headmistress reserves the right to detain any pupil at any level.
  7. Answer scripts submitted by students for examinations/tests may be freely seen by parents/guardians or the students themselves, on request.
  8. Those pupils who have not paid all school dues may not be permitted to appear for examinations.
